DeadandWalking on Google Search weird?

Hey

I just searched my site today on Google and the search results displays my link at

"deadandwalking.com/"

Every other site on Google ive seen has

"http://www.sitename.com"

What's wrong with mine? How do I stop this?

I don't think that it is doing your site any harm, or that it is anything that you need to be concerned with.

Did you code the site yourself, or have someone code it for you?

that is no problem however check one thing on your domain registrar whether the setting of accessing your domain with and without "www" is selected or not.

Mate don't worry about it, it means absoloutely nothing. If you search Forum Promotion in google, we will also be without the www. (as we have a 301 redirect set to the www.) as with my own site, it doesn't mean anything and is nothing to worry about :great:

I wasn't too sure whether it would effect anything so cheers for clearing it up. It looks ugly like that though! lmao.

You can change it by placing a redirect from http:// to http://www. and then when google re-indexes your site for changes, updates etc. it'll show as www. instead of no www. 😉

Also @ DeadandWalking your signature image is so hard to see, maybe you should change the font to black 😉

If you have a Google Webmaster account thing, you can set your preference in there if you want your site to have the www. or not.
