So we all know that we will die at some point. Because most of us have our lives tangled with the internet, how will everything know when we die? Unless your wife uses all the same account you do, you may be the only person who knows your passwords. This being the case, if I die tonight, how will you know (even if you don't care)?
This has always been an issue for me. I hate my parents and only a few other people know 'tons' about me, most of these are females who don't know anything about computers. The only real 'friend' I have who would know which files to look in for my passwords could not access my computer if it was off, and even then he'd have to hack into it (which honestly i'm sure he can).
I found this site (above link) that does what I need, in case of death it alerts the people who need to know. Since it allows files to be sent too, I can write up a 'what to do' in OpenOffice.org and attach my password file with it as well. Everything need to be known can be, without many problems.
Anyone else think this is a greta idea?
