Deceptive Forumotion Ad Campaign?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this on webmaster/admin forums. There will be a debate about some form of forum software, and a person will but in and say: ''I think that phpBB3 is the best forum software. It's very easy to use. Demo: Free Forum..''

Is this a forumotion addict or is it a deceptive ad campaign. I'll give you an example of the post history of one person who's posts have done nothing but glorified Forumotion: link.

As I said, it's not just on FP I've seen it: AdminAddict.

Could this be genuine or am is my brain just making up conspiracy theories? It's been bugging me for a while I must say, not just on FP or Admin Addict but many other Admin/Webmaster forums as well...

I must admit i haven't noticed this but know you come to mention it, it is a bit weird.

Even so i just think it is a forumotion addict rather then someone from forumotion.

It's probably a Forumotion addict. Forumotion was the very first host I ever used, and typically, I hated them. Of course, when you say something like that to an addict, they're like, "what do you mean, you hate them? They're the best!!" Of course, I'm no good at arguing, so I usually just let the subject drop from there. But it is disgusting though, when people do this.

Yeah it's probably just a ForuMotion addict rather then a member of the ForuMotion staff... it is quite funny though, he keeps promoting the hosting and not actually saying why it's better then competitors. 😛
