So I have a shared hosting account for Movie Hub. Is it worth getting a dedicated IP? What is the difference between having one and not having one? It's reasonably cheap to buy but I don't want to buy it just for the sake of it if it won't have a meaningful effect.

Nope, I'm also on shared and I do not bother. Something to look at when you are so BIG and large

IP reputation is the key here, starting out small I would not be worried about it when you see the growth I would look at that especially if you're looking at email reputation.

It is usually not worth spending money on a dedicated IP for a small website with very less traffic.

We offer dedicated IP on all our plans. For more information, visit our website.

A dedicated IP allows you to reach your website using the IP instead of the domain name, and may improve your reputation if you send out a lot of emails or do any kind of eCommerce. Personally I would bother with it UNTIL you have enough web properties and traffic to be outgrowing your shared server and ready to move onto a VPS. A VPS will have dedicated IP's by default.
