Dell Webcam Cenetral Prob

Hey, I have Dell WC Centeral on my pc already installed with the preinstalled cam. So I installed avast or whatever and it changed something to where it won't work.

Well I tried recording a video and after recording it caught the video, but it didn't have sound. Nothing is muted, so I unistalled avast. Still not working. I even updated the Webcam software but still nothing 🙁

Did you try doing a system restore to a time where your webcam was working properly?

Did you check your sound setting for the microphone with Dell's included webcam software and Sound in Control Panel?

Uninstall your webcam software.

Install Avast (if you still want it).

Install your webcam software.

That Should work..if you don't want avast, it's like a reinstall.

Ok, problem. I uninstalled Dell Webcam, but did system restore (to a point before the uninstallation) and clicking the .exe file does not work.

When installing Dell Webcam from online it says a newer version is installed so it cannot continue. How do I convince my system it is uninstalled?
