Watching some of this today and it's quite interesting. Seems to touch on some themes familiar even in my own family. OK, you got wife beaters, snooty rich people, poor beaten down workers.

So was the fact the woman worked to death (sarcastically) by snooty rich "b word" got her fortune a surprise? What deep thoughts do we have of this?

Yeah, This movie Delores Clairborne really runs the gamit, it deals with a lot of dark family issues, and Jennifer Jason Leigh plays Selena a girl with a troubled childhood. This movie is shot in a lot of blue tones with flashbacks shot in vivid color.
