So I am going to begin designing forum styles. I was just wondering what colour scheme people liked the best? I don't mean light or dark, I'd like to know what colours. For example, here are my favourite:

White Background / Blue Header / Black Tables
White Foreground / Orange Menu / Black Background
White Forground / Green Menu / Black Background
Dark Blue Background / Lighter Foreground

What's your favourite?

I like blue/white themes, they are safe colors.

You should try to experiment with different things, thats what will make it unique :great:

Blue is a very hard color to mess up, light blue, dark blue, bright blue, baby blue, neon blue. It doesn't matter it generally looks nice no matter what color you use.

That being said, I like dark skins so you should attempt those also, if they are done correctly they can look great.

For me it depends on the niche of the forum/website. I find that every niche has a color/color scheme. For example, if you were making an all American (USA) forum, you wouldn't make the colors green, yellow, and black. You would more than likely try and make the color scheme red, white, and blue. Graphics forums tend to be darker and/or colorful. While webmaster/admin forums tend to stick with blue and white/light gray. Gaming forums are almost always dark, and so on.
