Has anyone started playing Destiny yet? I've been waiting for this game since it were revealed.....ages ago, it finally came out today, i've only just started playing the Campaign, i got the Limited Edition, so i already have codes to the first and second expension packs.

I know a lot of friends who play this game. Personally I think it's awesome. Just my opinion, though.
The game is enjoyable, but you are going to need a few friends to get the most out of it. If you're only after the loot or are expecting an MMO style progression, you'll be sadly let down because you can get better loot faster from doing a farm run instead of completing the raids.
The shooting is fun. It's a bungie game... but they hid the story. It could have been better, but that isn't to say that its not fun.

I've been playing Destiny some (on PS4) and it's a good game. (Anyone who wants to play shoot me a message. Or if you're looking to join up with a clan, I'm looking for members...)
The controls are tight, visuals are gorgeous (even if you play on past gen versions they look ok). Though load times feel a bit high... (not as bad as Mass Effect 3. But still not great either.)
The story is pretty bare actually. You get a few basic details like "Traveller came, Darkness followed" but then that's about it. Most of the story missions tend to be about setting up more questions than they answer. Which is not really a bad thing (if you consider this game is intended to be around a while...) but right now it feels very much lacklustre storywise.
Another thing to watch out for is that this game is very much focused on grouping up. So if you don't have a few friends who are willing to play with you, you're not really going to get as much enjoyment out of this game.
A lot of the end game content is going to be more difficult for you. (High level strikes and the raids are incredibly difficult to virtually impossible to solo.)
Also, I really like their live action trailer... Has a very Guardians of the Galaxy vibe to it.
