Diablo III: Delayed Once More

Once set for late 2011, then delayed until early 2012, and now delayed until the second quarter of 2012, Diablo III sure has made some gamers angry.

The Diablo III push back is in a result from changes that are still in progress from the Blizzard team. Blizzard’s president Mike Morhaime confirmed that Diablo III won’t be ready until the second quarter of 2012; more updates will be available on this as soon as they are released.

Honestly, I believe Jagex makes just as much money if not more. So what that they don't build console games.

1) Connor, please name ONE console game that Blizzard makes.

2) Hardly any company makes what Blizzard makes. They have over 10 million people paying for a World of Warcraft subscription Every month. That is $15.00 per month.

The math:

10,000,000 x 15 x 12 = 1,800,000,000 million dollars per year just from World of Warcraft. WoW has been up for 6+ years..so We will take it times 6 = 10,800,000,000

Now for the World of Warcraft game purchases:
Over 20 million have purchased the game, if not more..
(With three expansions going at $40 each)
20,000,000 x 60 = 1,200,000,000 million
20,000,000 x 40 = 800,000,000 million
20,000,000 x 40 = 800,000,000 million
20,000,000 x 40 = 800,000,000 million

10,800,000,000 + 1,200,000,000 + 800,000,000(3) =
3600000000 + 10800000000 = You do the math. JUST off of World of Warcraft

Now please take into account all sales for Starcraft, Starcraft: Brood War, Starcraft II, Warcraft I, II and III (+ its expansion), Diablo and Diablo II.

Please tell me of a company who has made more than that in the gaming industry.

Nintendo is a company that creates consoles and games all together. Blizzard is a company that just creates games. I think you are just mad that I was right Connor.

I'm confused as to why Connor even brought up Jagex and it's games.

Regardless, I have faith in Blizzard and I will wait until December if I have to, but Diablo III is going to be incredible. The beta was amazing.
