Did you ever get hired by a forum member for freelance work?

Assuming you offer gig type work or do freelance work online, did you ever get hired by a forum member to do freelance work on their behalf? Was this a long time member of the forum, such as someone you knew for a long time? And, what type of work were you hired to do?

Yes, I got hired many times. That is how I am making money nowadays.

I've been hired to help coach a forum owner on getting their forum active. I charged relatively cheap so that is why I think they went with me. I didn't turn their forum into a big board with my advice but I helped them get started until they felt comfortable to continue on their own. 🙂

I've been hired to get a forum off the ground, to do a review (however that would not count as a hire, did it for a friend) but that's about it. I honestly would not do freelance work again, just takes up too much time IMO. 😛

I don't really do freelance work at the moment. I do enough coding as is with my day job, and the side projects I work on every now and then.
