Fan forums I love. Everyone is so passionate for or against the latest move of the artist. This sort of forum is unlike others. It's what got me interested in forum functionality.
Did you start or run a fan forum? Would love to hear the stories.
I never really cared about fan-sites. I have never really joined one with any desire or care about the content. I find the idea of worshiping one certain actor, movie, celebrity, or book-series to be the waste of a perfectly good obsession. I was actually an administrator on one a few years ago though. I posted on a website called WWE Talks. The owner was a real John Cena lover for whatever reason. He really, really liked him. So much that he closed his website and opened up one exclusively for him. Out of support, I tagged along and helped him with some things.
