We're all feeling the hard times of the economy and are trying to save money everywhere. Well why not buy a diesel car instead of a gas car. The diesel cars get 800-1,000 km's to the tank! Did I also mention it costs less! A 2002 Jetta TDI manual takes $60 to fill the full tank (Canada). This tank will last 2 weeks of highway driving for an hour a day. I don't know of any gas car that would last that long or go that many km's. The diesel cars don't com-bust, which means if your car was to get into a bad accident it won't blow up in flames. This will save half the money or more than what you spend on gas cars. You could go on a vacation with that money!
