Difficult earning cash selling E-Books on forums?

I think it can be difficult selling Ebooks if you're not good at writing in general, or you sell a 25 page E-book for a high price like 30 dollars.

But, I read if you're good at writing and find a topic which has low competition, but high demand, you can ask affiliate marketers from ClickBank, and other sites to help you promote your product. But, you have to give them a 50% commission which is not bad since Ebooks are free to write, and require very little money to deliver and produce since it is all done digitally meaning no gas, ink, paper, or card board is use to produce the book and send it which is why paperback books are so expensive.

He writes a good post on creating eBooks which sell. The hardest part is probably finding a topic which is in demand, but not overly competitive with established authors.
