I don't know what you mean exactly when you say that but if you meant delete the image, that will not work, that will just some an error. Correct, you will need to remove the {SITE_LOGO_IMG} string from the overall_header.html file. Post up your entire /overall_header.html file in code tags and I'll remove it for you.
