Discord Spaghettifies Another Set Of Forums

Keeping to the black hole references, Discord is going to become home to several old forums from DECA games. The forums of Star Trek Online, Champions Online, and others.

Going to be quite funny when Discord goes IPO and down the line, extreme monetization hits Discord hard.

It seems they are not the only ones making that distinction and moving over to Discord. Cheaper, easier, closer up and in one place. Discord has changed since it was first released to the point that you can create threads in Discord channels nowadays.

Still, Discord has its downs, and I say it's not going to be the future. The Discord CEO has stepped down, and someone else is now running the show. I hear that Discord might be up for sale....

The new CEO is the former CEO of Blizzard/Activision. They’ll be focusing on helping discord get ready for their upcoming IPO.

Man that's depressing to see! It's always sad seeing well established forums shut down in favor of a Discord server. Looking at the replies to this news on the Champions Online forums shows that there's still plenty of people who think this is a bad idea.
