Completely new on running a forum, so any feedback is appreciated.

Interesting concept for a forum InquisitorDYM. Do you have a strong knowledge of the subject?

I am by no means an expert in any of the areas, but I am familiar with each area I discuss on the site. I hope to find others that have the same interest to understand their mind better.

Rather than buying self help junk, I hope to discuss the techniques involved in making these self hypnosis, entrainment, and other methods yourself. By customizing the process you can get better results, and save you from wasting your money. The only thing that it takes is time and interest.

I realize the empty sections look odd, but you could say that is the "mind map" of my site. I was hoping to have content in each section by now, but I underestimated the amount of time a whole forum takes. For now I just hope that the first members will be patient and realize what's to come.

I will join because of the interesting content. Also, I appreciate the helpful topics for guests or new members, such as "Who should be members of this site?" and "Greetings from the creator."

By the way, if your host allows you to, I recommend a guest welcome message above the forum listing on the index page. In it, you can summarize the purpose of your website, and detail your aspirations for it. You can, in addition, link to important topics that a guest may want to see before anything else, such as (perhaps) the ones I mentioned above.

I am definitely going to take all recommendations into consideration, and probably going to go with them as soon as I can(Or in some cases, figure it out) :lol:
