Additional Notes: I know activity is low, due to the fact the site isn't open yet. I am just looking to see what you think about the general layout and if you would join off of what you see.

Your Quick Review

jrd9p3.webpPros: Your theme looks pretty nice. The colour scheme is nice and neutral. The content is very easy to read, but at the same time, the forum looks very nice. The background is neat.

Your forum descriptions are good. They're long, detailed, and grammatically correct for the most part. You do have a few errors, but I wouldn't think that they're noticeable to the average user. If you want to clean them up, then PM me, and we'll talk about it.

21agta9.webpCons: Your banner isn't bad for a text-heavy design, but I really think that it should be smaller since it's text-heavy. You have a lot of empty space. I would recommend shrinking the banner. Also, making the background transparent might be nice. That way, you can see the nice background behind your forum's name. Experiment with that and see if it looks nice.

You have many empty forums, and you have very few posts and members. I would recommend doing some post exchanges to jump-start your activity. Having fewer empty forums and more posts will make your forum look more active to prospective members.

Your layout is a bit strange in my opinion. Your news category has four forums, and none of your other categories have as many or more. You also have a category with two forums. To fix this, I would recommend eliminating the "Advertising" category. You're running a general discussion forum, so I don't think that it's necessary to have a category for advertising. I'd recommend making "Advertising" a sub-forum under "Show Off," and I'd recommend eliminating the "Affiliate" forum. Simply make a topic in your news forum that says, "Affiliate with Discussions Abroad!" I also think that you should merge your "Community Matters" and "Feedback and Support" forums into one new "Community Matters" forum. I think that a forum entitled "Community Matters" suggests that feedback and questions are also welcome. You can adjust the sub-forums and descriptions accordingly.

13yh2c5.webpFinal/General Thoughts: Your forum looks good so far. You just need to get your activity started and fix a few little things.
