I prefer handwashing. Definitely prefer to wash rather than dry & put away.
I'm into eco living & am quite adept at being able to use minimal water when washing. Years of camping when I was younger helped ingrain that within me lol Plus we tend to wash as we go. Don't fill the sink with soapy water. As soon as we are done eating, the dishes get washed. Rarely do we have to soak anything. I also use Castile soap which cleans good but doesn't have the bubbles so you find you use less soap & water that way.
I think that is why I don't mind it. I do them as we go along so there isn't a big pile which can be overwhelming.

So do I. Dishwashers are pretty unhealthy plus they damage your stuff.
I actually like doing dishes, I learned from a really young age and always thought it was kind of fun, I just hate the task of putting them away once they're dry

My partner does them for the most part. I will wash them every once in a while though.
I hate doing dishes!! We use a dishwasher for most things and the only time things don't get clean is when they aren't put in the machine correctly and cheap tablets are used.
I still hate doing the dishes even if I am just loading the dishwasher. Lol
I hate it with passion. I rather do laundry.
There isn't enough to do by machine. Comically, my brother wanted me to use a machine once. I thought it was so funny as my mom's house had few dishes, and I was already a hardened dishwasher person at a restaurant, lol.
