I just registered this domain dnlagoon.com and im hoping to start a domain name discussion, buy & sell, and apprasial forum such as dnforum or namepros...

what do you guys think about the domain?? is it catchy? does it fit?? is it too long?

also alittle extra info.. i hope to have a forum character(kinda like a mascot) like a lochness monster or something like that...

Please give me your opinion 🙂

I don't think I could remember the domain name that good, but my memories bad, but goodluck with the project your working on.

Sounds good to me. If you do make a logo for it, it might help to emphasise the "DN" in the name and an image of a lagoon, might help with name recognition and memory.

You'd be up against a huge field of competition, but good luck with it! 🙂

thanks shotgun 🙂 Hope i can advertise it well..

Yea I was thinking about it saying dnlagoon with line waves under it and a lochness monster poping out beside it to the right 🙂

Will that help with memory and name recognition or do i need to make the "DN" part clearer?

Once the letters DN are strong and evident in the logo that should be enough.

Yes, design wise, you must emphasize the DN. To be honest, when I saw the domain name, I straight away saw the DN and then Lagoon, so thats a good start. Its quite a nice domain and so you will need to back it up with a good design. BTW, its not too long, I mean have a look at forumpromotion.net. 😛

yea this is true...

I have emphasized the Dn part in my latest logo 🙂

Also im wondering if the name will appeal to the world wide web, i wanted it to be catchy and to the point...

I just hope the name will look good on Google...
