Hey everyone!

I run my own web hosting company, and I noticed that some of the sites won't resolve, unless I put them on a CDN such as CloudFlare. I did a test with Pingdom's DNS Health tool, and received several errors regarding "Delegation"

Below are the errors I received:

Superfluous name server listed at parent: ns1.volact.com
A name server listed at the parent, but not at the child, was found. This is most likely an administrative error. You should update the parent to match the name servers at the child as soon as possible.

Superfluous name server listed at parent: ns2.volact.com
A name server listed at the parent, but not at the child, was found. This is most likely an administrative error. You should update the parent to match the name servers at the child as soon as possible.

Total parent/child glue mismatch
The parent lists name servers that the child doesnt know about, see details in advanced. This configuration could actually work but breaks very easily if one of these zones change slightly.

Missing glue at child: ns1.volact.com
The IP address of the name servers was not found at the child. This is a configuration error and should be corrected as soon as possible.

Missing glue at child: ns2.volact.com
The IP address of the name servers was not found at the child. This is a configuration error and should be corrected as soon as possible.

I've worked with many sites before, and I've never in my life heard of a "glue" record. I did research on it, but I have absolutely no understanding as to why those errors are occuring, and why those issues are preventing my sites to resolve 100% of the time.

If any of you have any idea on how to fix this, please let me know. I've yet to find a solution to this problem.

Thanks! :great:
