About 230 posts.

Yea you will need atleast 200-230 posts 😀 i did that just in 3 days.. and i also will be buying a domain soon 😀... Its a really great forum , you can even shop for hosting

I'm still confused, how does this all work?

When you get however many DN$ you need for a domain, then what? Do they give you money in exchange to buy a domain with? Or do they buy it for you and give it to you? Or do they buy it and ask what IP they want you to point it to?

Also what happens after 1 year? Do you have to put forward the money, can you transfer it away from them? Do you have to make some more posts?

What are the Terms and Conditions? Can I host adult content for example

EDIT: It appears you can only use DNtemple for maximum of two years - http://www.dntemple.com/domains-acquire ... 14328.html

So there is quite a big catch there if you plan to keep your domain

Clever idea, but it's a shame the people making the posts are getting ripped off. 😛

Forum posters make around 0.10 per post.

230 posts x 0.10 = $23

$23 can buy you almost 2-3 domain names.

And that's why I'll never use dnTemple. 🙂

True, but it doesn't take that much work to go and register an account on PayPal and buy a domain from Namecheap. Namecheap allows payments from unverified PayPal accounts, meaning you don't have to attach your credit card / bank account to your account in order to buy a domain.

There's always a way around it, though unfortunately not too many people know. 🙁

When you get your domain you point it to your server and use it. When you send the dnbucks it's automatically changed into money on your N4me.eu account. 100 dnbucks = 0.70 euros and it's 1000 dnbucks to get an whole domain. You have complete control over the domain with you own account on the TLD registrar.
After 1 year, they email you 45 days before renewal so you can get time to save up. So you put enough money in your account before expiration day and renew it with that money.

No, I don't think you can use your domain for adult content.

What catch. It's just amount of responsibility. 2 years....you can keep as long you want as long you renew it on time.

On this topic the admin says:

Domain names at n4me can be registered for up toi 2 years with DN$. If you registered a domain for only 1 year, then you can renew it for another 1 using DN$.

So after two years you have to pay

I still say this is a *great* deal for alot of people. Let's face it, alot of kids these days, including myself are unable to buy things online. This is a great way to get a free domain name, and so what if you have to pay after two years? If you're good at being an admin, then you get your community to donate to a paypal setup by another [trustworthy] member.

There are ways around everything, exploits and holes in the systems. This is one way around begging your parents to allow you, which is degrading. I tried this method, works perfect and I don't feel at a loss simply because some people can make $23 dollars, I got a free domain name, that's all that matters.

Simply put, since within the next few months I will have a server hosted in my office hosting a network of unlaunched sites, and a team in place to serve help as needed, any chance you get to obtain a domain name for free is a good start. Awhile ago I was just some kid. Although my first domain name was not from this, I was in the same spot alot of people still are. Systems like this can open doors for people to another world, and for that I thank DNTemple.

Short Version;
If you really want a free domain name, do the posts and worry about the 2 year renewal when that times comes. Otherwise beg for a domain and degrade yourself into a fool like animal.

Well the thing is when your domain expired after 1year... you can renew your domain by using ur DN bux .... its just as renewing from the main domain hoster.....but with DNBux .... you can transfer the domain from n4me.eu to anyother host which ever u like... and you will have to make some more posts and earn DN$ in case u want to renew your domain 😀

You need 200 Posts to get a domain (If you post in the right sections).

Who owns the domains though?
You do, You have ALL the rights on the domain, Once it is bought you own it.

When you get however many DN$ you need for a domain, then what? Do they give you money in exchange to buy a domain with? Or do they buy it for you and give it to you? Or do they buy it and ask what IP they want you to point it to?
You need 1000 DN$ to get a .com domain. You get money exchanged for DN$. It is on n4me.eu you can point the domain to anywhere. You just need hosting.

Also what happens after 1 year? Do you have to put forward the money, can you transfer it away from them? Do you have to make some more posts?
After one year, You can still renew the domain using DN$. Earn DN$= Post.

What are the Terms and Conditions? Can I host adult content for example
I am not totally sure about this but I think it depends on your host, If they allow adult hosting then it might be allowed.

Any more questions, Just ask.
