Do load screens make a website trust worthy?

Do load screens make a website trust worthy?. I have to use a couple of load screens for my website, they take about 2 second to load. Could this cause me to loose visitors?

The minimum is the loading time, the better is your website trust in terms of popularity and visitors. A static website is more faster to load than a dynamic website with flash video files. So it is a bit harmful for websites loading slower.
