I also drive for Lyft, on occasion. I will rate a passenger a 5 if they had pleasant conversation or just an overall good passenger. My votes do not relate to how much someone tips. For those other Lyft drivers, do you purposely rate these passengers low to prevent getting paired up with them again in the future or do you give them a good rating?

i dont think sooo... Lyft Drivers should be tipping high cuz they need that....!
I don't drive lyft or any service, haha, I don't have a driver license right now.
But I've used their services often enough. I don't tend to tip but I still get good reviews. I don't think it is fair rating someone low for not giving you extra.

I am a part of some Lyft communities and the reason I originally started the topic is because I did see some others saying that they do that because the pay is already like minimum wage for driving, and low tips doesn't help them.
