They being others in the universe

My opinion personally-

Existence in life is futile to tell if other beings itself, i mean seriously we have only explored a tiny partial of the known universe and to clearly wipe out of the equation that other lifes may or may not exist is ridiculous.

Spirits have been known to wander the earth, as punishment for their actions that had/have taken against the body that they had used as transportation.

These things, no one can truly rule out but only time will tell what "Others" may exist in the universe.

And just think, to some we may be the aliens who have invaded their universe.

Of cause there are aliens, would be stupid if there wasn't. Didn't they find fossils on Mars or something that showed microrganisms meaning they were aliens. But i don't think we will find any in this millenium. -😉-

Dont sound so positive..

There are many thoughts on aliens and if they exist or not, some believe that aliens exist but they are being hidden, some believe they exist but not on earth, some believe they dont exist at all, some believe they exist on earth and we just havent discovered them yet, some believe that it is all bullsh*t and people who believe in them a tw*ts. I'm sure you get the idea by now.

But i believe that their is no such things as aliens, but ab-normal life on a different planet that we havent discovered yet, there maybe humans on another planet we havent discovered yet for all we know, thats the point.. None of us know for certain, if it was fully confirmed that their was aliens or life on another planet, then it would be very big news and everyone would be talking about it.

I'm sure many of us here hope there is life on another planet or maybe you hope there is aliens on this or another planet, but no-one will know for sure until we actually discover it fully and it is announced.

If the theory of evolution is correct, then there very well may be life on other planets. In an infinite galaxy, what are the chances that only one planet developed life? Think about it.

Here's a notion on life, with a little probability to boot:

Variables involved with this problem:

S - Amount of space (use a common unit, like number of planets, or something)
T - Time (ie: some point on a timeline)
P - Probability of life randomly occuring and some point in space (using our common unit: life occuring on a planet)

Values associated with each variable:

S = (this is obviously up for debate) ∞ --> (mathematical symbol for infinity)
T = ∞ (This is definite. Time is infinite.)
P = This could be almost any value imaginable. I think I read somewhere that the probability of life occuring randomly is the same as the probability of a dart hitting a dartboard dead centre... After being thrown in a straight line from the opposite side of the galaxy.

So the equation is:
P:S - That is to say, the probability of life occurring on a planet, compared to how many planets there actually are.

To factor time in:
P₁ = P/S
T😛₁ = ∞😛₁ --> Most of the answer we need.

To give you an idea of what the heck it means, if that doesn't make sense:
1:2 means that out of 4 tries, there should be one occurance of whatever we're looking for (like, heads over tails, or something like that)
4:4 means that out of 4 tries, all 4 will (or still possibly should) be the event we are looking for.
∞😛₁ --> We don't know what P₁ is, but that hardly matters; even if it is (∞:∞), it will still be equal with the first part.

(P₁ <= ∞)
∞😛₁ =
Basically, 100% (or more)

Simply put, what I'm trying to say is that (much thanks to the paradoxical nature of time and ∞) it is almost guaranteed that SOMEWHERE out there (at some point in time, at least) there was, is, or will be some other form of life. 🙂

Of course, like every good theoretical discussion, everything is up for debate.

Wow, i just typed alot.

When people talk about aliens they imagine little green things with big black eyes etc. Well anything can be alien, like a new species of something on earth can be as we haven't discovered it before so it is alien to us.

Honestly, I have to agree with PretzelCorps premise:

Alien's do not exist, however other life forms may very well exist. For all we know there could be another planet just like earth, with life forms like our selves somewhere.
They could even look like us.

In my mind, there's many things I will never find a certain answer to and this is one of them. I like to believe there are other life forms around the universe, but I'm never going to find one, and it's unlikely to happen in my lifetime. (In my luck it'll happen the moment i die. )

They have too exist. THere are so many other planets, the conditions for life must exist on another planet somewhere.

There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on earth.

I believe they do exist.

I can't wait to see what forum software they use! -bigeyes- . I believe aliens are indeed out there, it's just a matter of:
- How long until we find any other lifeforms, or they find us.
- How intelligent would they be.
- Hostile or friendly.
- How would communications go about if both 'races' don't understand one another or technologies eachother use.
Etc. etc.

Somewhere, in all this, there has to be life other than us. Like many of the other posters said, what are the chances that we are the only life that exists anywhere?

To think we are suppose to be intelligent life forms, to even dismiss the "fact" there are other life forms, makes us ...ignorant.
I believe...*does E.T love signal*

Space is vast, so vast that we will probably never reach that far away from Earth. However, even though I think it is as likely to meet aliens, as it is unlikely, I feel that there is a very high certainty that Aliens do indeed exist or have existed.

My opinion is very religious 😀
I believe that yes there is life "out there". But not the way we want it to be. I think life is alternate. Meaning that these spirits wandering the earth could just be a accident of 1 reality colliding with another. Unnoticed mostly but occasionally causing trouble in our world while we cause trouble in that alternate reality. I also think that if God is outside time itself then these alternate realities are being separated by his power. Otherwise a giant gap between 2 realities so big and outside time that they are uncrossed. Another of my thoughts on these spirits that wander our earth are an effect of the Devils Demons. It is widely known that God had a great war with the devil and threw him and his "demonic" followers into "hell" otherwise know as Earth 😛. These demons play trick with us to try and scare us. In the bible it says that those who do not enter heaven or "Perfect earth" then they are cast out and live outside it. My guess -D- is that they get bored and come back here for a bit of trouble making.

here is another religious view. saying that because a planet is too hot or too dry or doesn't have enough air is putting a limit on a God without limits. so who knows? every planet is a possibility if you look at it that way. but we won't know in our time alive...

First of all, there is no limit to acknowledgement of the universe. From what I understand, there are more stars than there is every single piece of sand on every bit of this earth, and almost every one of those stars can fit over quadrillions of quadrillions of earths inside just that one star. It's amazing if you think about it. I believe that us, humans, and everything on this earth are the smallest species to be known in the universe considering how small the earth is compared to the universe. My theory is that the universe is infinite- that there is no end to what can be fully understood- that it's impossible to find out what is at the end of the universe. If you truly think about it, technology on the earth is the pre-stage of development for our universe. Think about it; there are definitely other forms of life that we never even viewed before that contain knowledge in which human knowledge is only a billionth of that living form's knowledge. Science and technology is nothing compared to what is found in the universe. You see those old sci-fi spaceship movies where people teleport from mid-air- and that's no sweat to other living forms on this universe. So, considering that the universe is practically infinite (from human understanding), I have to say that there is definitely living life forms on other planets, stars, etc. that we can not even compare to- and that their knowledge is infinitely untouchable by us humans. Yet, they are probably wondering if humans actually exist. There's nothing simple to what has been created by God.
