I am a part of a forum in my niche which does not allow links in signatures. I can still put my site URL in my sig but it is not clickable. Does this still add SEO value to my blog? Thanks.

Everything that I've found on the internet seems to suggest that yes, they are counted the same as hyperlinks. Crawlers don't necessarily look to find just hyperlinks, but "anything that looks like it could lead to new content", according to John Mueller from Google. 🙂

Yay that is definitely good news! This forum is the highest ranked forum in my niche so I am super happy that I can continue posting here and gain backlinks.
