All the kids who were my age on my street growing up were boys. Even as an adult, I had more male friends than female.
So yes, I think men & women can "just" be friends 🙂

Most of my online mates or people that I tend to hang around online are all males 🙂 I might come across some girls and they are nice to meet and just chat to them 🙂 But they seem to have their own thing going.

Of course it's possible. Focusing on things you have in common rather than thinking "Oopsie doopsie we have different genitals 🤪" is a good first step.

Yes, women and men can be "just friends". That doesn't mean that they should always remain just friends though if there is a mutual attraction. Some of the best and long marriages started off with great friendships. If there is only one-sided attraction though, it can get awkward very quickly.

Oh absolutely! So long as there are mutual interests and you have a good time with the person, gender plays no real part in things, you just become two friends enjoying each other's company.

I believe that you can have many acquaintances of the opposite sex yes. However, deeper friendships I think it's really difficult to not have at least one person in that "friendship" feel more for the other person. They can be successful with keeping at a distance and not act upon those feelings but I believe there's always going to be that situation where one person feels more for the other person. Sometimes both can feel attraction towards the other but can accept that it's not possible to act on those feelings due to their own commitments/relationships with their own partner(s). ...but yeah, that's my take on it.

I think men and women can be 'just friends' but I don't think they have to be on the same page right from the off and sometime it can be hard for people to surpress feelings if they get to know someone very well. It's not simple in my opinion.

Yes, you can be friends with anyone. I was friends with girls for many years through out school.

Of course, they can. That's ridiculous. I have plenty of female friends. However, though, when it comes to old girlfriends, ex-wives that can be tough.
