Yes, and it has been proven multiple times by dogs doing things for their owners. I could go on Google and search up articles about dogs doing good deeds for their owners, and I could spam this post with links. Dogs are so much smarter than humans give them credit for.

I couldn't agree more. Dogs are great companions, and humans should treat them just as the dogs treat us, humans. 🙂

Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Just a week or so ago I read an article about a severe case of animal abuse where the dog died. There are so many good dogs out there that have terrible owners.

That's what I don't understand about the world, like how can one possibly harm a possibly innocent dog. You can discipline them without killing them, right? This is one fatal flaw of mankind. 🙁

There's a lot of evil in this world. In half of these animal abuse cases, the dog didn't even do anything wrong. It's just a cruel, heartless individual.

I believe that Dogs are man's best friend, but I don't think man has been Dog's best friend, in the long run. Yes we did help the species survive all this time along side us. But look what we've reduced them to these days. We've bred them down to little yippie rats we can fit in our purses. Good job, man-kind. I'm sure that was in Dog's best interest.

i work with dogs for a living and even the most vicious and abused dog, after spending time around people that aren't trying to hurt them, will warm up to you if you treat them right. dogs have been around man for millions of years and they just have a special way to understand us without knowing how to communicate with us. if you dont think that's the coolest thing ever then you're 200% wrong like damn

I don't really like dogs. I had a dog when I was younger but they are so big and it's quite intimidating to be honest.

Someday, you can learn to love dogs. Trust me, behind that fierce look is a companion that actually loves you. I mean, all dogs can learn to love humans and likewise for us. 🙂

Yep they feel your pain and they are sad when you are, they are also very loyal!

if size is an issue for you then you should know it's actually the smaller breeds that are more aggressive! people think breeds like pitbulls and rottweilers are the most dangerous but you're more likely to get bitten by a dachshund, chihuahua, or a jack russell. you hear more about big dog attacks since bigger dogs make bigger bites but trust me, most dogs are big babies.

a dog usually doesnt attack without a warning. dogs usually give warnings before they attack like the way the hair on their neck stands up, the position of their tail, or just plain growling.
