When you're on forums, do you block signatures from showing? What about here on FP?

They don’t display on mobile by default, but I don’t intentionally block them. They display on my other devices, like my laptop.

I don't block them on any site.

I block signatures on some of the sites I own or manage for a number of reasons. Firstly the majority of members simply don't use them. Secondly they wouldn't be appropriate on the commercial forums I manage and finally I prefer all focus to be on content, especially on smart devices with small view ports.

Signatures have always been a very interesting feature of forums for me since I started using them, so I always leave them enabled.

Yeah, since FP blocks them on mobile, I don’t do anything else to block them on my laptop or anything. Some people can have cool or funny siggies anyway.

I try so hard to block jon but keeps coming back, what's your secret powers on that

I don't block them and I don't really enjoy forums that don't allow them. Signatures are one of the core community features that make forums a community and pushing away from that community feel just makes them feel like lifeless social media sites. It is just like real life where everyone wears their own fashion and removing that to a uniform "everyone is the same" look is just a boring approach.

I don't block signatures on my XF forum, but I don't think you can anyway without a mod. Do they have those mods?

Anyway, signatures don't bother me and they can color up a forum.
