Do you buy Easter Eggs for Easter?

I have bought the plastic eggs for easter. But, when I was growing up, my parents would buy just a carton of eggs and we would dye them...I need to start that with my kids since they're old enough now.

Nope, don't have kids to do that for but we did it when we were younger.

At the cost, nope. They are not cheap to buy nowadays. I saw medium eggs for a price of £4.50 in stores. The cost of infection and cacco is just crazy. And most put their markup as they can.

Sometimes I'll dye eggs, but we don't eat enough hard-boiled ones to make it worth that effort.

Shrinkflation and obscenely high pricing has left them mainly unsold on the supermarket shelves around my area. We certainly haven't bought any.
