Do you like to buy netbooks, where it is usually a small computer with a standard version OS and limited harddrive space. Used mainly just for the internet

or

Laptops, which are like desktops, only simplified and usually have a lot of the same features, given a few drawbacks.

I have only had laptops but I may switch to a netbook soon.

You make it sound like people buy computers frequently... 😛

I just have a desktop PC.. I dont need the portability. The computer is fine at home. 😀

I always buy Netbooks. They fit in school binders and take less room in luggage, where as Laptops are like giant Elephants. xD

I have a netbook and multiple laptops and 1 desktop.
I like to use dropbox for all of them, that way I can manage files between all of them, from anywhere.

Desktop. If i am out and about I'd rather be doing other things than on the computer.

I have a netbook as my main comp. 140GB HDD, 2gigs of ram and running a linux distro. Also, everyone says they are mean't for the net, but if you know what your doing you can run more than that. Example: I can run photoshop on mine 🙂

I have a laptop, but I do not think it has any draw backs, it's more powerful than most desktops lol, and loads of hard drive space as well.

Cheers

I buy laptops without cd/dvd drives in them, I never use them anyways, since there are other ways of installin, etc... software and what not, making the laptop even cheaper and spending that extra money on upgrades if you wanted. 😎

Netbooks are pretty cool and the hardware is getting more and more advanced, quickly. The ASUS Eee for example now packs ION integrated nVidia graphics with a dual core Atom. I prefer Notebooks on size and more "umpf!".

I got my first ever laptop last month and I love it. I did look at the netbooks, but they just seemed way too small. I like being able to be on all the time now, and taking the computer on the road with me so I won't miss a thing as far as foruming goes and things like that.

Netbooks are small so they are easy to travel. The point of a netbook is to use the net. Not to do much work 😛

Laptops. I buy Macs, and I like power and size. On all 3 counts, a netbook is out of question.

I got a laptop(NEVER EVER BUY A TOSHIBA I'M WARNING YOU D: ). If i got any smaller i'd be making 4 times more spelling errors. XD(I miss my keypad :< )

I only buy Toshiba and Acer laptops and both companies/laptops are flawless in every way.

Just choose smart I guess 😎

I use Netbooks for travelling, very handy. I'm going back and from the United Kingdom very often so I use it often. But back in Spain I use a Desktop.
