Do you click on site if you see them in specialized places on forums?

I am wondering how often people click if they see a site in specialized places on forums. You know when you pay for add space and its in different spots.
Like in the upper right hand corner or on the bottom of the page.
Do you always click or sometimes click. Maybe you don't click at all.
How often do you click?

I tend to not click on ads simply because I'm always wary of whether they are legit or not.

If it looks interesting, I may click on it. But I too am cautious.

I click the links sometimes. However, before I click on the links I hover on the links to see what the URL is all about.

I do not click advertisements at all, not even on my own site. Well, google be after me if I do 😛 I just see them as pain in the butt but makes no money act 🙁

I don't for the same reason I don't click on click on signatures, I just don't see them. If I'm reading though a thread I see the content, the user bit (aka avatar area) and then the editor if I want to make a post.

Everything else is unseen. It's not even a conscious decision, probably just years of reading content and ignoring everything else.

I click on some ads if I know they are relatable. I always look at peoples forums on signatures but I'm a forum guy!

I voted for 25% of the time because there are times when I'll click on the ad for the fun of it 🙂 I know it's not supposed to be overdone so I only do it maybe once for a site and that's it.
