Do You Do "FORUM" MARKETING?

Hey everybody,

I have heard there are some online marketers that use forums

as a sole method of getting traffic to their website. I would like to know, ARE

YOU ONE OF THEM? I would like to know because knowledge of others'

personal experiences will benefit all of us here. It would benefit us all. If you

are, then please share

your experiences!

I put our forum in the signature of every forum I post it, for sure. Not sure what else you are referring to?

Ditto from me, I also check my traffic sources on Google Analytics and my sig links do help bring traffic, even when those sigs are on small inactive forums.

All I've ever done to get my sites ranked highly are post on forums with the correct anchor text in my signature, and a site built to profit from those keywords.

I've never had a site not place in the top few of google, even had a site in the top few of "gaming forum" so I don't believe there is any need to pay anyone anything.

I have success with Forum marketing by adding my links to my websites in my sig.

I notice Websites in my sig gets indexed faster by Google and other search engines.

It is also a good idea to post your link in the website review and promotional section on forum promotion forums since someone might be interested in your site, and review it, and if your lucky be a member on your forum.

I also use Anchor text related to my forums and websites topic as well.

I promote my community via signature advertising - its a method I've been using for years, why? Because if you give out free knowledge, users are going to want to check out the sites you link in your signature! :rofl:

My forum has only been up a week. I put signatures in it and just have been promoting on other forums like mine. only like four and like to have 5-10 post a day and have gotten 40 signups these last few days. so that is a very effective way to advertise.
