Emailing members with promotions can be a good way to get old members to come back, and boost your activity.

Do you take advantage of sending mass emails to your members?

Not really, I mean I do not have the resources on the server to allow me to send mass emails at once. I only allow 200 a month on my account which allows me to send emails when people join or request password changes and whatnot, then again it's free that I'm using, if I pay $20 a month I get over 1K a month for forward and reliance.

Plus most emails go into spam and most members ends up not reading it XD

I send out an activity log email to inactive members who haven’t logged in for the past 6-8 months. Other than that, I don’t send out too many emails.

I've only sent out a mass email once I reopened Mighty No. 9 Universe. I don't really send emails too often since I prefer to send direct messages on my forum rather than send out emails.

I used to in the past but since I did not get conversion, I have not stopped doing it.

I really try not to.

Forum software email systems are screwy. It seems like a lot of email goes to spam.

I try to keep registration outside of using an email. But I still have issues when new password requests emails don't get sent. I need to figure that out.

I really only send email for my email newsletters. I have one with nearly 3,000 subscribers. I send it monthly.
