Do you expect mates rates?

If you bought something like a service from a mate, would you be the sort to expect mates rates* or not? 🙂

* Mates rates being if you know the person they will give you a discount.

Hmmm, it depends what and who it is, but in general yes, I would. 🙂 But only people I know in 'real life' I'm not to bothered about people I've never met, they can give me normal rates.

Typically I do get a mate rate, so I sort of expect this. But I wouldn't be bothered if I don't get it.

Depends on if the person is allowed to give a discount or not. I had a friend that used to work at burger king & she used to give me & her other friends a whole bunch of extra random food in our bags. It was all good until she got caught and written up for it... Had I known she was going to get in trouble, I would have told her not to give me free stuff.
