Do you feel affiliate marketing is selling out?

Sometimes I do - like on that movie Wayne's World with Noah's Arcade 😳. Anyway, though, the problem is affiliate programs are often more high-tech and sell more. Nonetheless, the downside is you could let down your audience who see you as more "home grown" or indie.

Yeah, that's the appeal of chain restaurants, stores like Wal-Mart, McDonalds etc.. Since independents are more maybe, that would be a turn-off - and also, people don't know what to expect - or if it's any good.
