So, I was browsing imgur's most viral images...The link to it is in the spoiler, you may find it graphic (I don't) but if you're squeamish please don't look.

WARNING: IF YOU'RE SQUEAMISH PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW THE LINK

That is quiet a thing to look into. One should always be safe while working and should always use gloves.

I don't personally find it that disgusting. I do think that he probably learnt his lesson after an incident like that though. I can imagine it was quite painful when it occurred and trying to get it to heal properly.

True that, but nobody want's to wish this upon someone who does not really deserve it, do they? 😛

Ouch that looks sore, I guess that's why they always tell you to wear protective clothing.

ow, that looks really painful. I feel sorry for the guy, I really do. =/

I don't find it disgusting, I don't see why I should.

The flesh will probably grow back, some minor areas may be scarred however.

I don't find it disturbing to look at, more so interesting and curious.

I find it quite interesting to look at, honestly. Then again, I'm the type of person who researches odd diseases and such for fun.

I'm actually the same way. I've always been big into the medical field.

It's not a disease though, it's simply because he was handing corrosives and wasn't wearing protective clothing. 😛

I was speaking in general, not in regards to the man's situation.

It doesn't really bother me. I'm a science major so I've gone through all the lectures on wearing protective gear. Still, I've seen a few people get burned by acids or based, although nothing nearly that bad. The worst I've seen in person was someone who just blistered a little.

I've actually seen a lot more people get burned from boiling water or hot surfaces than I have from chemicals, though!

I live in the US and currently I work at an amusement park, which isn't where I've seen people get burned.

The place where I've seen people get burned a lot though is in my science labs for college. People accidentally bump a beaker of boiling hot water and it spills, or they touch a tool/surface which is still hot after coming out of a Bunsen burner, for example.

I didn't actually mean where do you live. I meant it more as a "Do you live/work in a terrible place to see all this?" 😛

I guess I'm not surprised. People seem to forget about things that can really hurt them.
