Well, do you get things like floods often?

My family has had to deal with quite a decent amount of water over the years. 😛

If it rains hard enough my basement will flood. The only downside to this is the mold that can grow from it. We don't really store anything in our basement anymore because of this.

We're pretty lucky over here in terms of "natural disasters", so no... The last thing to happen here was Irene, and luckily she didn't do nearly as much damage as our officials promised.

I used to have a trouble in my old house where the basement would flood every single time it rained. It was really annoying.

Nope. Seems my town is immune from most natural disasters *crosses fingers*

I don't get earthquakes or anything else, I'm just not so lucky when it comes to being immune from floods. 😛

I don't really get anything, I live in coastal environment, so if the sea rises I am doomed. 😛 We do get serve thunderstorms here in November and serve rain a lot.

I don get floods where I live often/hardly never.
but North NSW and Queensland just had really bad floods

I don't go through national floods very much, my family is just unlucky when it comes to not getting floods like I said before. 😛

We're having some heavy snowing now so it's gonna be a 'wet' spring too. We had some huge floods in my county, but not the city I live in. The river that runs through the city has been made a canal, so it doesn't overflow too easily. We're not gonna have problems, but some of the villages in the county will surely have the 'pleasure' 🙁

We've been having some snow lately, it's February 14th and Winter has just started. 😛

If the tap goes crazy again my house gets flooded even when im not there.

yea I had that in one of my old houses.. the washing machine screwed up and flooded downstairs

My house has never got flooded, we are on a hill and not on a floodplain.

Not in the small valley that I live in!! The river that runs through it swells every now and then but nothing too bad to cause any real concern.

I used to be on the hill but the basement had a crack in the window small enough for water to get in. D:
