Do You Get Traffic From Baidu

Baidu is a Chinese search engine. My crypto niche forum receives traffic from Baidu. About 3 percent of the traffic on my forum comes from Baidu. Do you receive traffic from Baidu?

Can't say I do - I mostly just see Google / Bing / Yandex crawling my site with the occasional oddity that I'll never have heard of, but not sure if Baidu has ever payed me a visit!

A break down from my analytics of April 2022 - I think it is safe to say that it is a hard no for me (only 1 visit).

I had some traffic from Baidu, but I don't care for them, because of where the company is hosted/ran from; China.

To begin with, every company located in China MUST have a CCP member in the company itself. Secondly, even if you get past their search engine, they have rules to censor things. So, i wouldn't be excited.

It does not matter where the traffic comes from as long as it converts, right? Crypto is banned in China, but I receive traffic from Chinese search engines, and interestingly, the Chinese traffic converts. I don't receive China mainland traffic on other sites, however, I receive traffic from Taiwan, though.

Baidu sends traffic to my forums too, but most of them were looking to sell their products. Chinese people are interested to sell their items than buying from other countries. Anyway the traffic has nothing brought to me except Alexa rank in the past.

Google and Bing Traffic is really crazy for anyone in this world.

A little bit of search engine traffic comes from Baidu. Mostly, I think, because I had an active Chinese user on my forum that used to post status updates in Chinese.

Interestingly, based on the AdSense records, the Chinese also seem to be clicking on ads. Therefore, I think my Chinese visitors were not looking to sell.
