Do you get weekends off?

Do you get weekends off or do you have to work weekends and get some week days off?

I always have days off 😛 those that don't have a job 😛

But if I had a job, weekends would be my free days off, unless they are good pay extra days. Weekends are when you go out and have fun and spend time with family and friends and do what you want to do without the need to work, but end of the day if I was to get paid extra £10 or more a hour to work on weekends then I take it

I work from home and as much as I do try and take the weekends to myself, I always find myself working instead and keeping myself busy. I need to get into the habit of taking the weekends for myself as it can lead to burnout if you do not take that time for yourself.

Yes and no. I don’t really work a schedule day to day. I do have weekend meetings because a lot of the time that’s the most convenient time for my clients, but I always try to take Saturday nights and Sunday mornings off.

Yes and no. I work rotating shifts at the hospital and the days I work rotate as well.

I used to work on weekends, but things have changed since the pandemic hit. My client has cut back on work, so I no longer have to put in weekend hours. Nowadays, I spend my weekends unwinding and checking out different online forums.

No days off as a full time caregiver, but I do get more leeway to do things aimed at myself, so yes-ish?

I work 7 days a week. During the week I am driving my semi. On weekends I work on cars/trucks. Fix anything that needs to be fixed really. Working on the house all week. And of course doing my forum stuff. OH, and being a grandpa!

As I work from home, I try to have a weekend without doing any work but I always end up doing work during the weekends.

It depends on the weekend. We do have to work two Saturdays throughout the month but only for four hours and in the middle of the week, we do get a half day, which is also four hours. So, yes and no.

I work in the hospitality industry as a General Manager which means I do my own schedules but because of the nature of the job I end up working most weekends, but then I get my days off midweek which is better as everything is a bit quieter.

I get two days off a week. Sometimes weekends, sometimes Sundays and another day, and to a lesser extent neither days of the weekend.

No and it sucks, but at least I get week days off so I can at least take care of errands.

I work all the time. Wouldn't call myself workaholic but I love to work . I just enjoys it that way
