Many of us will have more than likely stopped going trick-or-treating by a certain age but some of us will have had kids and more than likely will now take them trick-or-treating on Halloween.

My two youngest still like to go trick-or-treating so me and my daughter will take them out on the night to enjoy themselves and have some fun dressed up.

Do you still go trick-or-treating whether it be for yourself or to take someone else?

I miss taking my daughter out to go trick-or-treating! When she was very little, we would start off with the relatives' such as the great-grandparents and then the grandparents before returning home to go to the neighbor's houses. Then as she got older, we would stay out the entire time. As soon she became a teenager, she begged to go with a group of friends and that was the last time I got to go. I was so sad.

It is always sad when they start to grow up and want to do things like that alone. I am still lucky that my two youngest don't mind me going with but I know soon, they will want to go with friends without me and it's going to be sad.

I wish I could go trick-or-treating again! I have such fond memories from the past.

I was brought up that Halloween was evil so was never able to do this 🙁

It’s not such a huge thing here and it’s rare to see anyone out trick or treating sadly

I miss taking my kids out; however, it's fun to see how creative they are now when they come to the door.

Did your wife stay home to pass out candy back in the day?

It CAN be evil, but it can also be lighthearted fun.
Sadly I wasn't even allowed to watch Pokemon or Harry Potter when I was younger because it was against God.

One of my older daughters stayed back to do that when we went out; now, we both just give out candy.

My husband hates handing out candy. He wants to know how many kids we've had at the door (we get less than 30), and then he gets all the leftovers.

I used to trick-or-treat all the time when I was younger but today, I do not although I treat myself to the half-priced candy on November 1st.
