Do you have a designer mentor?

I've heard people say that the best way to improve as a designer is to be doing real work under an established graphic designer. I'm not in that field nor do I have any personal contacts who are graphic designers so I am limited to viewing online tutorials and Youtube videos. 🙂

Do you have a graphic designer mentor? If you are an established graphic designer or website designer would you be interested in mentoring someone who wants to learn your techniques?

At one point I did have a mentor of sort and I got better with my designs by having them constantly bashing my work and pushig me to do better. If there was someone who was serious about learning web design then I would mentor them as my mentors did me.
