I'd say so.Is the protection Spigen offers on par with Otterbox?
About that, once you're tired of the one you're using now, is it easy to take it off and is it reusable?Nope, no case. I haven't used a phone case ever since I found about about phone skins. Now I just slap those on and call it a day.
The ones I buy are 3M vinyl stickers, so they're pretty durable and have decent adhesive to where they're reusable if you're careful to not get a bunch of lint and dust underneath them while you're first applying or removing them. Aside from the ones that suffered from me throwing my phone on to my bed and hitting my tv remote, a game controller, or my banister hard, I just peel them off, stick them back on the paper they came attached to, and slip them in one of those anti-static plastic bag things electronics come in until I'm ready to use them again.About that, once you're tired of the one you're using now, is it easy to take it off and is it reusable?
As for me, I have 4 cases for my current phone but right now I'm not using any.I love using my phone without a case and it looks so much better without one but there are times I do use a case, when I'm going out or will be having an active day.
Thanks for that load of info. I've heard of DBrand myself and I checked that out yesterday. Looks really good but like you said, quite expensive. The ones I buy are 3M vinyl stickers, so they're pretty durable and have decent adhesive to where they're reusable if you're careful to not get a bunch of lint and dust underneath them while you're first applying or removing them. And if you run around the edges with your fingernail, credit card, and the like to make it as thin as possible, you can slide your phone in and out of your pocket constantly without worry that casual usage is going to cause something to peel off.
But the initial process can be laborious and tedious, and by the end of it, you're just ready to think you're done. But it's always worth it to work the panels and edges for several minutes just to make sure they're on. Personally, I go over the edges every few days or so, just in case. But as long as you have hands, a clean surface, and access to a hair dryer or a heat gun with a low setting so you don't burn your house down, you're good.
I recommend these places:
https://dbrand.com/
https://www.slickwraps.com/
https://easyskinz.com/
Dbrand has the most precise cuts for skins by far; their stuff lines up perfectly with every speaker hole. The downsides for them are that they're generally more expensive, they don't pack in or offer precision cut screen protectors to go with the skin, and depending on the phone, there's no option for skins that cover the side. Also, they only offer matte skins--with that awesome texture that makes you sound like a DJ lol--and carbon fiber.
Slickwraps is similar to dbrand, but they offer more variety of textures, come with screen protectors, and have skins that cover the sides. You used to be able to buy side skins separately, but it seems they removed that option recently.
I'm personally using easyskinz right now; they have a variety of colors, textures, and so on, but their cuts tend to be more general instead of being precise. For example, instead of punching a hole for each speaker opening, there's a generic square gab. But on the plus side, they're the cheapest, even with the conversion rates due to them being in the UK and overseas shipping. Dbrand and Slickwraps tended to get a little bit expensive with me since i tended to order multiple skins so I can have different colors for the front, back, sides, camera, and home button, but easyskinz is easier on the pocket.
Here's two other ones that I've heard good things about, but haven't used:
https://www.stickerboy.net/
https://www.decalgirl.com/
Stickerboy is like Slickwraps in terms of offerings, and they'll let you order individual parts so you can color the side, back, front, and so on separate colors. Plus, they have precision cut screen protectors for sell. Decalgirl is good if you want different and crazy patterns and designs versus a solid color; plus you can upload your own images and get them made into front/back skins.
Your best option would be checking them all out and buying at least something from each site to complete your set depending on how you want to customize, and go for Stickerboy for the screen protector if you don't want to be like me and cut your own--protip, cutting your own would be the most hair pulling thing you'd ever do in relation to your phone so I recommend not doing it--and being on your way.
I have no personal experience with using skins with a case, but I would assume that just as long as the case isn't super form fitting and tight, you'd have no issues. A friend of mine used a skin with one of those wallet cases and had no issues. I would assume one of those big, bulky cases would mess up the edges when putting it on and off.

Sadly none of the sites you linked me to have skins for the Samsung Galaxy A5 2016. 🙁
To be honest, I probably cut out roughly three or so more paragraphs of content out of that post. There's a lot of nitty gritty that I could've covered.boy taken me longer to read that then I thought. You didn't have to type an hole book
