Is your domain with your host or a domain registrar?

My domain is with Namecheap.

Namecheap. I rather have it on an external site and it is usually cheaper that way. Some host offer domains for like 18$ while on the registars they are like 10$ max.

Getting domain registered from registrars like Eurodns, Nacheap and Godaddy will cost you much less compared to any other hosting service websites.

I learned to keep my domains and hosting separate the hard way, so yeah: always separate.

I used to host my domain with http://namecheap.com but I wanted a server so I moved away.
