I always found third party integration to be very useful, as it saves people from having to register on every single part of the site and having to keep up with multiple accounts especially, when you have some sort of single signon system.

I used to use it on one of my sites to integrate a forum with Wordpress, but it was usually limited to software like phpBB which really limits what I can do on the forums.

One of the problems which I always had with MyBB was the lack of third party integration plugins especially, when it came to integrating the forums with Wordpress, which was one of the reasons that it's prioritised so highly in AtomBB.

What are your thoughts on this?

Personally I wish that more forum softwares had third party integration plugins for wordpress. Like you I don't like that it is limited to phpBB, personally I know very little about the forum software so I cannot skin my own when it comes to that type. Wordpress is about the only CMS that I like any more when it comes to creating a website because there is so many options. With WP though, there are several plugins that allow you to use forum type discussions, though not really forums.

I'd love to, but integration between IPB and just about anything is practically non existent, especially for a reasonable price.
