Do you leave your computer on overnight?

I turn my computer off every night before bed unless I'm downloading or transferring a large amount of files.

My office computers are on 24/7 but my home PC is only left on when I do my weekly backups and maintenance on it. So that would only be one night a week otherwise it is only on when I am using it.

No, mine is a laptop, even my work computer is a laptop. I'd have to leave the chargers plugged in all night as well. If it was a desktop, I wouldn't be concerned and would leave it going all night.

Sometimes I leave it on, sometimes I turn it off, though recently I have been very good and have been switching it off each night. 🙂

I know this is terrible for my computer and the batter but I never turn my laptop off. I just close the lid mainly because I am impatient and don't like waiting 2 minutes for my laptop to reboot 😛
