Do you like app stores like Google Play and Apple App Store?

I like that app stores make it easy for me to find, download, install and update apps I have installed on a Smartphone, or Tablet with a few taps of the screen on my touchscreen device.

But, I don't like that I have to re-buy the app if I ever switch to iOS.

I like the ideas of these app stores simply due to it making it easy to find and install applications.. I have loved the idea ever since I tried a Linux distro that had a package manager.

App stores also might make more money for App/software developers who don't have the money to hire internet marketing staff, or don't know how to do internet promotion themselves.

Without the Apple App Store, and Google Play, I think Rovio the makers of Angry Birds would be bankrupt like before instead of rich since a lot of people buy and find apps from the top 100 app charts on each category like games, and paid apps, or search for apps with keywords in the app market search engine.

I haven't used the Amazon App store.

I've used the Google Play store, and found it Okay. Liked using it.
