Hello guys!

Do you like or hate Windows 10? Some people do not want to update to Windows 10 because they are afraid that it might make their machines unstable or unusable. Other people want to update as soon as possible because they want to experience the latest features of Microsoft's latest operating system.

Which of these two groups do you belong and why?

I absolutely hate it myself, as it's really just poorly-made modern-age trash to me, and my opinion had not changed on it since it first showed its face nearly three years ago. If I was to switch OS, I would definitely hop to Linux and I would urge everyone to do the same. For those still with Windows 7 like me, don't waste your precious time with it.

And to add, I did use Windows 10 once in a job position I was at last year and let me tell you, the experience was painful. It was hate at first sight also. Never again.

Like all things there is positive and negative. For me that I got so used to windows 10 that it's part of my everyday life. I been using it it since 2014, the day when they released the beta test version. And man so much errors and in that year they had released 8 big updates before they did an full release.

I am fine with it. Though it did take them a few years since releasing the initial buggy public version, before it was finally made compatible with older programs. That has been my main beef against it.

GFWL doesn't work so that suck if you want to play GTAIV

I always used Linux for main OS, from 1997 year to current.
All Windows version is too difficult to operate, Windows 10 is even more confusion.
But I think Windows 7 was better than other version. ww

Indeed. That's why people don't wish to part with it, even myself.
諏訪子もそう思います(Suwako thinks so too.)
良かったのに、Linuxの方が便利だと思うんだけどねw(Despite it was good, I think Linux is more convenient.)

Linux may be more convenient but not a lot of people are familiar with it, sad to say. Also that there's far too many distros which can be off-putting too but anyone can just go for either Linux Mint or Ubuntu, as they're the most popular out there.

A lot of distribution is useful for choice.
But maybe beginner should only care for Ubuntu, Linux Mint, or Fedora, server manager can use Debian or CentOS, and more technology loving people can use Arch or Manjaro.
Tadaan! List is much smaller now!

Neutral.

I have used to work with Windows 7 for more than 5 years...

Now that I'm on a laptop with Windows 10, I'm actually liking it a lot more. It's not half bad, and I like the convenience of having some of my programs pinned to the Start menu so I don't have to search for them or go to my Desktop for them.

Honestly, I hate Windows 10. It feels incredibly invasive compared to previous versions. I don't like how applications install themselves, and I don't like how they force feed updates, those are my biggest concerns. I've got a few unfortunate systems that have 32GB eMMCs that were claimed to be able to run Windows 10, some of them cannot update further even with the use of an external usb.

In general, I just haven't had the best experience with this operating system.

I love win 10. Because It has many functions. But, It makes my computer slow down

I was initially trying to hold onto Windows 7 for as long as possible, but most of that was due to the fact that my computer didn't pass the WDDM requirements for Windows 10, and I didn't particularly want to run my monitor at sub-optimal settings.

With a new computer, I made the switch to Windows 10 and aside from a few times when Windows Update has screwed up the installed programs, it's been fine. I no longer go out of my way for the updates. They don't get installed if I don't receive them.

The updates are very annoying, it's like big waves of instability.
And... Windows 10 proved my point about it's instability while I was writing this post. The screen went black for 30 seconds before fixing itself.

I dread every update as who knows when they'll mess something up. But well. Who knows what sort of ransomware will hit if you don't update, it's like a nightmare that never ends.
