I agree. Bings UI on the homepage rocks. If google did this to their home page there would be no doubt that i would go back to them hands down.

I've only used Bing once, but I like Google; I stick with what I know, usually.

I haven't tried bing video search since I am not a fun of it. But I also like the wall paper image of bing. I hope google will do the same on their homepage.

Seems unlikely. Google have always been about keeping things clean, simple but most importantly fast. However I have to agree, the interface is nicer than Google's for searching. One thing I find to be constantly annoying though are those squares that appear when you move your mouse over the background image.

The results page is nice though. Easy to navigate pagination, no Sponsored Ads and that tooltip that shows up on the right hand side (when hovering over a result) is quite smart too. Somehow though, I can't seem to tear myself away from Google.

I've only really had a look at it once and meh, i'll stick with Google. Best search engine imo.

Bing is simply Live Search with a slightly better interface (which means it sucks). I still prefer Google.

Bing is bad. It is slower, harder to use, and doesn't get good search results. The only good thing is the look, but even the background is annoying with those squares. Google wins again.

It's extremely hard to choose an overall win really.

Google:
Much better for older mobile devices that don't deal well with CSS and the new forms of XHTML (PSP's for example). It loads quickly even on slower connections (laptops without many wireless bars, or dial up).

Bing:
It's more appealing visually, but causes some load issues with older browsers, and slow connections. I think as the Internet moves forward and everyone gets a decent 5MB line (that doesn't crash) Bing will work fine, and it will get more users.

As my computer has limited connection I usually stick to Google. However when at a place that offers quick Internet I like to look at the pretty backgrounds 😛

I almost never use Bing, although it's image search can be useful since none of it's images are copyrighted!

It looks very nice, but I'm used to google and will therefore probably always use google.

I like Google a bit more, I've got a slow connection at the moment so google loads better, and it is a bit more advanced.

Bing is okay because it you are looking for a free forum hosting, it won't lead you to a forum where has "free forum hosting" in a thread. But I still use Google!
