Having a forum for daily threads can allow you to keep certain topics such as good morning/good night topics, what time you went to bed topics and such can help to keep all those topics in one place and easily accessible.

Do you have a forum for daily threads? If not, would you consider having one?

I have a General Chat thread that people post in. Not necessarily daily. I prefer that over the simple Good Morning/ Good Night topics as they tend to merge the ideas together. People can say Good Morning but also chat about what's going on with them.

I have a general chat thread and if people create threads that seem cool in the general area I may sticky them 🙂

I allow those topics to be posted in the off topic section of my forums, so I don't have a separate forum for just daily threads.

Forums have categories that fit well with what people want to post about, as long as it's posted in the right categories and not rule-breaking. The off-topic area is common as it's a plus to talk about anything off-related topic that the forums is based on, and so talk about dogs and cats then.

Also, I do get members and have seen it happen that people join to deal and yet they might not be good on the subject in hand example gaming, those people or that person may not be into gaming and so they can able to post in an off-topic area.

Keeping up with new topics and having replies in them can be hard with no members

When I had a forum I had an area dedicated to the "dailies" and I think it worked well. It prevented other discussions from getting buried.

I don't think a separate forum is necessary, just keep it in the off topic areas.

MY forums are mainly focused on discussion on evergreen topics, therefore, I do not prefer to have daily thread, forum games or even time-sensitive news.

I don't mind those threads, but they don't really add content. It does add to a sense of community though.
