Do you like where Minecraft has led in 1.8 and do you like what it's doing in 1.9?

1.9 looks good, but it has some mobs and stuff that I don't like. 1.8 also had some features I wasn't a huge fan of like the new hunger bar, but I still love the game.

Minecraft 1.8 has some really awesome features that I like (even the hunger thing is pretty neat), but I dislike how the memory consumption went through the roof.

I've never liked that, it's pretty much always been like that. They should fix it in 1.9, though. I'm looking forward to Snow Golems, Villagers, animal breeding, and hardcore mode.

So when is MC going to go from E to M?
I'm going to guess on a year 😛

I really like the features and how it has been going but ANIMAL BREEDING?!

Yes. That's in 1.9, in 1.9 fed animals can have babies of that animal. 🙂 They're really cute.

Minecraft has always been the popular but really lame game of the genre. The others sort of died, though. I'm looking forward to when my game, Stiveland, is out, though. It's much better.

I just said my truthful opinion. Haven and Hearth, before the "Curio" system came out, was vastly superior and free-to-play to Minecraft, without even so much as a paid option. It was just run by a couple of guys looking to have fun running a game. Then they ended up making a new game based on it that just came out and is horrible called Salem.

Haven and Hearth was really vastly superior in every aspect until they introduced that "Curio" system.

Now it's less good but still better in almost every way.

Please slow down, bro. I don't want you talking about a whole bunch of stuff. You not liking Minecraft is one thing but randomly discussing games that I've never heard of in my topic is a little bit too far. 😉 No offense.

I don't know I am enjoying his posts and I think I will check the game out.

After searching on google, this game looks pretty fun.

@Death180: It was. Ruined for me once the Curio system came out. Just in case wanted, an explanation:

You study "Curiosities" or "Curios" which are left in your inventory and based on the quality of the item you gain Learning Points (EXP) and then you can unlock skills and such.

Basically, the change from before is where you use items, whereas formerly we would kill bears (and other wild animals), farm, etc. to get LP.

Anyway, this is getting off-topic, so I'll just say why I prefer H&H:

It's much more complex and with many more systems.

(My company is actually going to begin production on a new MMO similar to the old H&H from before the curiosity system came out, however. Expect it...sometime from December 2011 to May 2012  )
